Ocean Freight

We need three things from you to quote the best competitive rates:
1) Location of Goods
2) Destination Country and
3) What you are shipping.

There are two basic types of ocean freight for shipping: full container load (FCL), and less-than-container load (LCL).

The most common containers used in ocean freight are the 20 foot and 40 foot standard containers. The interior dimensions of each 20 foot or 40 foot container is:
20-ft standard container: 19'5" long x 7'8" wide x 7'9" high
40-ft standard container: 39'6" long x 7'8" wide x 7'9" high

Documents that are required to handle customs clearance of your cargo:

1. Commercial Invoice / Pro Forma Invoice
2. Packing List
3. Certificate of Origin

Incoterms

The term, Incoterms, is an abbreviation for International Commercial Terms. They are a set of rules which define the responsibilities of sellers and buyers for the delivery of goods under sales contracts for domestic and international trade. They are widely used in international commercial transactions.
